Need to trim your expenses? I did. I was paying almost $70 a month.
Now
I am paying about half of that and my price is locked in for a year.

You are *still* fuckingly stupid! And ignorant, to boot!

OK, you were paying *almost* $7o/month. Half that is *almost* $35. Times
12 months and you are still paying $420/yr for tv. **AND** the price
will go back up after the year is up and you have a commitment for
another year, that you are not mentioning!

A couple years ago, I paid about $260 for a 30" Ku-Band dish, linear
LNB, motor and Traxis 3500 receiver, installed it myself and I can pick
up every satellite from 72W to 129W. And the cost since then...ZERO.
Six months ago I was GIVEN an 8'BUD with an actuator and an old
receiver. I got it working and I pick up even more stations. And the
cost since then...ZERO.

I understand that there are some people that will not have clear Line of
Sight, or they think themselves not smart enough to set it up, or they
are physically unable to set it up for themselves.

A person can go to any satellite forum and learn how to set it up and go
from there.

What can a person see after he has his own satellite up and working?
LOTS!! All the networks are up there, free and clear. Some of the A&E
channels are free and clear. Backhauls and wildfeeds galore! All, and I
do mean, ALL of the sports channels. And only a couple shopping channels!

And if you don't want to put up a dish, you can stream a lot of shows
and movies onto your computer. And most of them are free, also.

Bugger off

Thanks for the compliment "You are *still* fuckingly stupid! And
ignorant, to boot!"
That is always a great way to start out an email reply to someone. I
am aware that
all the things you mentioned do exist. I did not claim I had the best
deal in the world.
So please calm down. I'm not trying revolutionize the world, I'm just
offering a product.

I respect that you have taken the initiative to do all those things. I
hope, and it
sounds like you are happy with your current dish setup. The reality is
that
those who do not have time to educate themselves on the finer points
of
putting their own dish package together such as you have done, may
want to
be made aware of more simple and affordable alternatives to the $100+/
month
options that Verizon, Comcast, and others offer. You have yourself a
good day now!

Well that kind of disrespectful reply does not help the poster.

None-the-less, I don't pay anything for TV. Why should I pay for trash
TV which floods me with ads and the propaganda of those who control
the networks?

Whenever I'm stuck in a hotel or motel and bored enough to surf the
channels the word "trash" comes to mind every time.

I'm locked in to Al Jazeera English though I can get a few other free-
to-air channels. It's excellent. It's not trash. If it were to become
readily available in Canada and the US it will soon be the channel of
choice. So guess why those controlling the networks are preventing us
from watching it. Lets have freedom to watch what we choose.

No thanks, not nearly enough nudity for me. On my own personal list of
channels I want to watch, Al Jazeera isn't at the bottom, but there
are very few below it.

You would watch it to get balance. That is, in the USA for example, 5,
6, 7 or 8 jew controlled channels to which we should add one Arab
controlled channel ... to get the other side of the story.

Otherwise most Americans go around thinking jews are perennial victims
and Moslems are terrorists.

And your reasoning is all over the board! You start out by saying you
don't pay for TV because of the ads and propaganda. Where are you gonna
watch TV without the ads. Certainly not at the Motel!
Well, maybe that is what you meant by your 2nd statement of "trash" in
Motels! Yup, there's lots of porn in Motels.
I get Aljazera up on 97W, also and it is on one of the OTA channels,
too, where I live, (here in the states). I also get everything up there
from 72W to 129W. The free and legal stuff, not the pirated crap.

Kixi, I agree with what Philly says where he says to, "Calm down".
